Hong Kong Extras is an independent website launched on 1 June 2007 and intended to provide visitors to Hong Kong with a wealth of useful information not always readily available elsewhere.

The authors of Hong Kong Extras have an extensive knowledge of Hong Kong gained over many years and our aim is to provide accurate, up to date, authoratitive information.

Hong Kong is an ever changing destination and information in guide books quickly becomes out of date. Hong Kong Extras provides accurate factual information to keep visitors informed of new attractions, temporary and permanent closures and alterations to opening times.

Hong Kong Extras explains Hong Kong’s public transportation system, how to get around by bus, rail, ferry and tram and how to locate current transportation schedules.
